Cheers to a Successful “Building Bright Futures” Dinner & Auction!

This past weekend Prevent Child Abuse Utah held our 25th Annual Charity Dinner & Auction at the Little America Hotel in Salt Lake City.

It was a wonderful night for our staff and over 300 guests! We are so grateful to all of our fabulous board members and supporters. We could not do our job without each and every one of you.

The giving was especially great this year. Every penny extends our reach just a little further. We all serve an important role in building bright futures for every child.

Enjoy some pictures from this humbling and impactful night!

Just a couple of ‘before’ pictures of the ballroom and live auction items.Thurl Bailey, our amazing MC, charmed our guests with his beautiful voice! Big T also donated two youth basketball camps to our live auction items. We are lucky to partner with him.

Thank you to all of our guests who came to support child abuse prevention!

A few of our generous donors browsing the silent auction items before dinner.

Our Associate Director and friend of the agency, Preston Jensen. Preston was gracious enough to share his personal story of abuse at the dinner, reminding us that child abuse is closer than some of us may realize. The effects are far-reaching and we can all do something to promote prevention.

Champion, was arguably the star of the night. PCAU always auctions off a puppy at the dinner. He was irresistable!

Some of our biggest supporters that helped make this year’s dinner so successful with many hours put into planning.

Some staff greeting guests at the registration desk. This is always a fun event for our staff to put on. Thank you to them for all of their planning and hard work.

Prevent Child Abuse Utah’s Board President and past president. You are amazing!

Thurl “Big T” Bailey and our Executive and Associate Director. Beautiful ladies (and gentleman)!

Lucky new owners of little Champion! Thanks for being “Champions” for children!

Winners of a delicious dinner! The Unified Fire Authority of Salt Lake and the Ogden Fire Department both donated dinners to be auctioned off during our live auction this year.

How fantastic to see everyone coming together on this important night for Prevent Child Abuse Utah!

Child abuse is something we can all agree should never happen. No child deserves to be hurt. We sincerely appreciate everyone’s support for building bright futures for Utah children. Education is the first step to prevention.

We can all make a difference!
