This workshop will be given by Wendy Fayles on Monday, November 12 from 3:00 – 4:30 pm. Wendy Fayles, currently serves as the Programs Director for NAMI Utah. She is responsible for overseeing NAMI education and support programs throughout the state. Wendy has three children, two of whom were diagnosed with depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder at a young age.
This presentation will discuss the signs and symptoms of childhood mental illness as well as the biology of brain disorders. Wendy will share coping skills for dealing with children with mental illness and describe the free resources available from NAMI Utah (National Alliance on Mental Illness).
