Enjoy Cordelia Anderson’s opening keynote titled “Dr. Seuss to Pornography” on Tuesday November 13 at the Joining Forces Conference.
This plenary session explores the impact from the reality that yesterday’s porn is today’s mainstream media and much of our children’s lives have become pornified. Both examples and studies are used to amplify the normalization of sexual harm and the impact on gender socialization, brain development, intimacy and sexually behavior. Participants are encouraged to act on individual and collective prevention strategies including “Demanding the Change for Children,” policy and broad based mobilization for social change.
